Meet The Purdy Girls

Why Party?

Our love of a good party goes much deeper than just wanting to make things look pretty. Life is full of moments and people worthy of celebrating. Whether it is inspired by a birthday, wedding, graduation, holiday, new baby or any of the other countless reasons we celebrate, stopping to honor someone you love or commemorate a special event in your life and the lives those most beloved to you is important! The best parties begin and end with a gracious host. It is our great privilege to take care of all the little things so that you can focus on the ones that matter most.

“Everyday they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.”

Acts 2:46

“This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Psalm 118:24

Why “Purdy Girl?”

Purdy is our maiden name and the tie that binds us. Growing up in an all girl households we were naturally often referred to as the “The Purdy Girls” so when we decided to put our heads together and take our love of a good party to the next level, Purdy Girl Parties seemed the perfect defining title.

I’m Kacey Warren. I love Jesus, dessert, fresh flowers, clean sheets and Netflix.  I have three of the sweetest little babies in the whole world and live to see them smile. My cutie pie husband Josh helps keep everyone sane…literally…at the Psych hospital and at home! We met at Texas Tech and have been together ever since. I taught elementary school in Houston before moving back to Waco. I love creating things and making them look beautiful. Give me a hot glue gun and some glittery card stock and I’m in heaven!  Being the youngest of the three, I tend to not take things too seriously, (or do much of the decision making).  I like to have fun and help everyone else have fun too. Life is short. There is much to celebrate!

I’m Caryn Smith, I’ve been married to Stacey for 15 years and I am the ringleader of our circus of four boys. So, yes, I basically live in a frat house. Pre frat house I attended Texas Tech University and worked in Public Relations for several years. I’ll celebrate anything that will sit still long enough for me to put a party hat on it and have been doing it as long as I can remember (just ask my cabbage patch kids). I love all the intricate personal details that make an event special and memorable and have been known to obsess just a little over said details. As the middle sister in this trio my sisters would probably say I am a peacemaker who views the world through slightly rose-colored glasses.

Hey I’m Angie Wood and I love a great party.  I’m married to Mark and mother to 3 beautiful kiddos.  I grew up in Waco, Texas and love living here raising my family. I graduated from Texas Tech with an English degree, but my diploma should read, ‘how to graduate quickly after falling in love’.   I never really found my thing in college but now I have…I absolutely love creating events.  It’s my thing! I especially enjoy the plotting, planning and gathering stages of an event.  I’m a night owl so most of my creative juices flow well after my family is tucked neatly in bed. It’s common for me to take my kids to school in PJs and laugh at the thought of mornings with no coffee.

My sisters would say that I am efficient and get things DONE! Being the oldest they would probably add I’m a wee bit bossy {in a good way right sisters?}
